Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Hate City Cycles. By accessing our website (www.hatecitycycles.com), requesting an estimate, or dropping off your motorcycle for service, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope of Service

Hate City Cycles specializes in the repair, restoration, and maintenance of vintage Japanese and European motorcycles, as well as modern metric motorcycles.

  • Service Exclusions: We strictly do not service Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Chinese-manufactured drop-ship bikes, or scooters. We reserve the right to refuse service on any vehicle that falls outside our operational scope.

2. Estimates and Billing

All repair work requires an approved estimate before work commences. For major restorations or long-term projects, we utilize a progressive billing schedule (typically a deposit, a mid-project invoice, and a final invoice).

  • Parts must be paid for upfront as part of the initial deposit.

  • Final payment is due immediately upon project completion. Motorcycles will not be released until the final invoice is paid in full.

3. SMS Communications (Hate City Cycles Service Updates)

By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive SMS text messages from Hate City Cycles regarding your specific motorcycle repair.

  • Program Description: Messages include repair status updates, links to estimates, parts arrival notifications, and invoices.

  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on the length and complexity of your repair.

  • Pricing: Message and data rates may apply.

  • Opt-Out: You may cancel SMS service at any time by replying STOP. Upon sending STOP, you will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, and we will no longer send you SMS messages.

  • Support: If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or email us directly at Service@HateCityCycles.com.

  • Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Vehicle Storage and Abandonment

Once a repair is completed, the customer will be notified via SMS or email. Vehicles must be picked up within 7 days of the completion notice. Vehicles left beyond this period may be subject to daily storage fees. Vehicles left for more than 30 days without communication or payment will be considered abandoned and may be subject to mechanic's lien processes according to Georgia state law.

5. Liability

While we treat every motorcycle with the utmost care, Hate City Cycles is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or articles left in vehicles in case of fire, theft, or any other cause beyond our control. Due to the unpredictable nature of vintage machinery, we do not guarantee that NOS (New Old Stock) or used vintage parts will perform exactly like modern equivalents.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.
