At Hate City Cycles, we’re committed to transparency and want every customer to feel confident in how we work. General Shop Questions

  • Do I need an appointment to bring in my bike?

    Yes. We are an appointment-only shop. This allows us to give each bike and rider the dedicated attention they deserve.


  • Where are you located?

    Our shop is located at 1888 Meadow Ln, Decatur, GA 30032. We're just outside Atlanta and easily accessible from surrounding areas.


  • What are your hours?

    We’re open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. We’re closed on weekends.


  • What if I call and no one answers?

    Leave a message — we check voicemails regularly and always return calls as soon as possible.


Repair & Service Questions

  • What types of motorcycles do you repair?

    Our specialty is vintage Japanese bikes, but we also work on select European and American models. If you're unsure whether your bike qualifies, reach out and we’ll discuss your project.


  • Do you offer tune-ups and safety inspections?

    Yes. We offer general maintenance, diagnostics, and comprehensive safety inspections to make sure your bike is road-ready.


  • Can you fix bikes that haven’t run in years?

    Absolutely. We regularly bring old, non-running motorcycles back to life through full mechanical inspections and phased repair plans.


Custom Build & Fabrication Questions

  • Can I bring in my own bike for a custom build?

    Yes. We frequently work with customer-provided donor bikes and will inspect your bike to ensure it’s a viable platform for customization.


  • How long does a custom build take?

    Custom build timelines vary based on scope, design complexity, and parts availability. Most full builds take between 8 and 16 weeks.


  • Can I request a specific style or influence for my build?

    Yes. We collaborate with every client to ensure the final product reflects your preferences and riding needs — from café racer to scrambler, and everything in between.


  • Do you fabricate parts in-house?

    Yes. From custom tanks and seats to subframe mods and exhausts, most of our fabrication is done right here in the shop.

Policies & Payment

  • What’s your payment policy?

    We require a deposit for custom builds and parts orders. For all services, payment is due upon completion. We'll provide clear estimates before any work begins.


  • Do you provide written estimates?

    Yes. All services begin with a consultation and a written estimate. We’ll keep you updated on any changes before moving forward.


  • Do you offer warranties?

    We stand behind our work and aim for long-term reliability. While we don’t offer formal warranties, we address any concerns promptly and fairly.
