Service Description
You parked it "running fine" last November. But over the winter, tires lose air, batteries die, and brake fluid absorbs moisture. Before you head out for your first long ride, let a professional set of eyes verify your machine is road-worthy. This is a Visual Triage. We don't take the engine apart; we check the "Life or Death" consumables that keep you safe. The 20-Point "Triage" Checklist: We put the bike on the lift and verify: Brakes: Pad thickness, fluid condition (moisture check), and line integrity. Tires: Date codes (Age), dry rot inspection, pressure check, and tread depth. Drive System: Chain tension, lubrication, and sprocket tooth health. Controls: Cable free-play (Clutch/Throttle) and lever pivots. Electrical: Headlight, tail light, brake switches, and turn signals. Fluids: Oil level and coolant level check. ⚠️ The "Visual Only" Disclaimer: Please note: This is a Safety Inspection, not a Diagnostic. If your bike is running poorly, making noise, or won't start, please book the Deep Diagnostic ($200). The Safety Check does not include compression testing, carb tuning, or internal engine work. It is designed to catch safety hazards before they cause a crash. The "Red Flag" Policy: If we deem your motorcycle unsafe to ride (e.g., tires showing cords, zero brake pressure), we will advise you strictly not to ride it home. We value your life more than your feelings.
Cancellation Policy
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY 1. THE "24-HOUR" RULE Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for your motorcycle. We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellation or rescheduling request. Notification Method: Cancellations must be made by phone or email. Social media messages (Instagram/Facebook DMs) are NOT considered valid notice. 2. LATE CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOWS If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or simply do not show up: Standard Service: A $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged to your card or added to your next invoice. Major Work/Drop-offs: If you scheduled a drop-off for a major project (engine rebuild, restoration) and do not show, you forfeit any pre-paid scheduling deposit. Repeat Offenders: After two (2) consecutive no-shows, we reserve the right to require a non-refundable 100% pre-payment to book any future appointments. 3. LATE ARRIVALS If you are more than 20 minutes late for your scheduled drop-off or consultation: We may be forced to reschedule your appointment to avoid backing up the rest of the day’s work. The Late Cancellation fee may apply if we cannot accommodate you that day. 4. THE "RIDE-IN" WEATHER EXCEPTION We understand that motorcycles are weather-dependent. Ride-Ins: If you planned to ride the bike to the shop and it is raining/snowing, the 24-hour fee is waived. Please call us by 9:00 AM on the day of the appointment to reschedule. Trailer-Ins: If you are trailering the bike, weather is not a valid reason for short-notice cancellation unless conditions are severe/dangerous (ice/storm warnings). 5. RESCHEDULING LIMITS To keep our project queue moving, an appointment may be rescheduled a maximum of two (2) times. A third rescheduling request will result in the cancellation of the work order, and your spot in the queue will be released to another customer
