About
Buying a vintage motorcycle online is a minefield. Sellers hide rust, disguise engine knocks, and "forget" to mention missing titles. A shiny paint job does not mean a reliable bike.
Before you rent a trailer or hand over cash, let an expert vet the bike for you.
How It Works:
The "Listing Audit": You send me the Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace link before the call. I analyze the photos for non-stock parts, crash damage, and missing components that you might miss.
The "Seller Test": I provide you with a specific "Script" of questions and photo requests (e.g., Cold Start Video, VIN Stamp, Tank Interior) to send the seller. If they refuse to answer, you walk away.
The Video Call: We jump on a 30-minute Zoom/Google Meet call to review the evidence together.
What We Check:
Title Verification: Does the VIN on the frame match the paperwork? (Crucial for 70s bikes).
The "Cold Start" Analysis: We listen to the engine video for cam chain rattle, valve tick, or starter clutch failure.
The "Money Pit" Scan: I point out expensive-to-fix issues like rusted fork tubes, rot in the exhaust, or "unobtainium" missing side covers.
Why pay $75? Because spending $75 now is better than spending $1,500 next month on an engine rebuild you didn't expect. I give you a simple "Green Light" (Buy it) or "Red Light" (Run away) verdict.
